TERMS OF SERVICE

Please read thoroughly

PAYMENT

  1. Must be 18 years of age or older to order a commission, regardless of content, and the PayPal account the client uses must be THEIR OWN.

  2. All commissions must be paid up front in full via PayPal invoice. Payments will be made in USD only.

  3. I do not accept check, cash, or money orders via mail, nor site-exclusive digital currency (i.e. deviantART Points), or gift cards.

  4. I do not accept any cryptocurrency as payment.

  5. Payment must be made within 48 hours of receiving the PayPal invoice, unless discussed beforehand. Failure to pay will result in the cancellation of the commission.

  6. Do not send payment without receiving an invoice. Any funds sent outside the invoice will be considered a donation and will not be refunded.

  7. Tips are greatly appreciated, but completely optional.

  8. No refunds will be issued after completion of the commission.

PROCESS

  1. Revisions may be available depending on the type of commission and its approval stages:

    • Sketches/Rough Colors - These commission types do not have an approval stage unless specifically requested. Client may request to see and approve rough concept before the final sketch is complete. No complete revisions of a sketch will be offered, but minor fixes to the finished piece are acceptable.

    • Clean color - Client will be able to see and approve a sketch before it is lined and colored. Minor fixes to the finished piece are acceptable.

    • 'Clearance Rack' Wing-its - This commission type is priced at a discount in exchange for artistic freedom, therefore it has no approval stage, nor will I make any edits to the sketch or finished product unless I find them necessary. Client may request to see the sketch for progress reasons.

    • Additional time-consuming revisions will warrant extra fees.

  2. If at any time the client wishes to cancel the commission, partial refunds may be available depending on the stage of completion of the piece, and at my own discretion. 

  3. I reserve the right to cancel a commission at any time, without reason. In this case, client will be offered either a full refund if no work has been completed, or a partial refund for the difference between work completed and the full price, as well as whatever work has been done.

  4. Commissions will be completed in batches and not necessarily in any specific order.

  5. Average completion time for a commission is 3 - 5 weeks.

CONDUCT

  1. Commissions are a business transaction. They are not an open invitation to make inappropriate advances, comments, role-play, or any other type of harassment.

  2. It is not necessary to ask for updates more than once a week, I will keep all clients informed of any major schedule changes or delays. Clients are free to ask other questions at any time however. I also encourage clients to view my public art queue via Trello, as this is updated whenever work has been done.

  3. Should client fail to heed these rules or become uncooperative, there will be one warning. If undesirable behavior persists after the warning, commission will be cancelled and refunded (or partially refunded), and client will be blacklisted.

RIGHTS AND USE

  1. I retain the rights to my art to use and display as I see fit.

  2. Client may repost and display the completed piece as they see fit, provided they do not take credit for the creation of the piece. 

  3. Client may NOT reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use my art commercially.

  4. Client may NOT tokenize and/or sell my art as NFTs.

  5. Client may NOT utilize my art in AI training of any sort.

  6. Edits such as resizing or cropping for icons are permitted for the client only. Please do not make heavy edits to my art without permission. I will be happy to make small edits for free if needed.

  7. All completed pieces will have a small watermark which must not be removed.

By commissioning me, the client acknowledges that they have read and understand the terms of service, and agrees to be bound by these terms. I reserve the right to refuse any commission, without reason.

PAYMENT PLANS

Orders of $150 USD and over are now eligible for payment plans. If you are considering entering a payment plan with me, please read the following rules.

  • A down payment of $50 is required to start the payment plan process.

  • Payments can be made either weekly or bi-weekly.

  • The minimum weekly or bi-weekly payment is $25. Of course the amount can be higher in order to pay off quicker, but it will be no lower.

  • Putting payments on hold is allowed, as we all know, life happens. However, the limit will be 2 payment periods, after that you will need to resume payments at a higher rate.

  • No work will be done on the commission until it has been paid off in full.

  • Failure to pay and/or respond will result in the commission being cancelled and client being blacklisted. Any payments made up to that point will NOT be refunded.

  • Details will be discussed once a payment plan is requested. I am willing to be flexible within reason, so don't be afraid to ask!
